es•sen•tial beads No. 05 (1•20•21 A.G.)

In honor of American poet and activist, Amanda Gorman. I was so inspired by her on Inauguration Day and it really left an uplifting impact on me and so many. She has truly made history and in the middle of designing a collection, I had to create this moment into wearable art.

This bracelet was designed with Natural Carnelian for the bold red satin headband, Amber Yellow Jade for her coat, Rosewood beads for her skin, gold wood beads and brass pieces inspired by her golden aura as she spoke and moved with her hands. I’ve also included a 14 kt. gold-filled bird cage charm with a yellow glass bead inside inspired by the ring she wore in honor of #MayaAngelou given to her by @oprah . The custom Ayana B. Joy wood bead is included for applying your essential oils for aromatherapy.
